Toddlers

ToddlersWelcome to the terrible twos, this is one of the most trying times for most parents, but if you take into account that you child is finding out about themselves for the first time, testing new ground (yes that includes you) and trying to figure it all out, then it makes sense that they are going through a rough patch and will need a little guidance.

When you think about all that they learn during this time, it’s an increadible amount of input and no matter who you are, you have to admire their ability to absorb it all.

Tantrums are normal for a two year old, the frustration of not being able to verbalize everything and the inability to comprehend everything will result in confusion and frustration.  If you can lay boundries, but be accepting of their frustration then all will be well – but let’s not fool ourselves, that makes you a supermom – and I’m no supermom, but I’ve included a few insights that might help you along, or at least make you feel like supermom for a day.
