Tweens

So they think they know everything, but still don’t want to take responsiblity for anything.  They know fashion and want the very best, but still want a hug when the other kids are horrible to them.  The tweens are for some the best years of a childs life.

They have personality without the hormones, they begin to become the people they will be and that is the most incredible time to be around them.  They have a passion for life and an energy that could run a planet, but the attention span of a goldfish.

Parents all over the world will say that this is the time when you learn more about childhood and the pleasure of being a parent than any other.  The terrible two’s are over and the hormones have yet to begin, so enjoy – embrace and have fun.

Besides enjoying this time of your childrens life, it’s a great time to introduce them to all sorts of different activities to help them develop their own loves and dislikes.  A great time to go camping , teach them a new language , an instrument or introduce them to gardening.  Keep that energy alive for life by making sure that they have all the stimulation that they deserve.
