Mind Map Marketing Overview

The principle behind Mind Map Marketing is to generate as much quality traffic to your product page or website as possible.  You are going to discover how to build your own mind map structure to market each of your products and how to ensure that anyone visiting one of your information pages finds themselves following your links and guidance to the product you want to sell.  Along the way it is important that they get the information they want and understand that the product will complete their search.  So how exactly do we do this?

There is no point in trying to Reinvent The Wheel – Just Knowing How It Turns – Will Do The Trick

Step 1.

The first thing you want to do is to find your keyword by doing a keyword search on the product you want to market.  Once you have the product, you will want to generate some quality information on that product.  If you do not have your own website to promote the product, then you will want to use a free to use website that has a good pagerank that you can take advantage of.

So lets get started.

Step 2.

You are going to start with your own own product selling page.  If you are using your own website, this is the best option as you have complete control over your page, but if you don’t want to jump into the business spending money, then you can easily take advantage of some other pages that will allow you to link to an affiliate page.

• Squidoo will allow this, but you need to ensure that you offer good quality information and don’t bombard your page with links to the affiliate link.  Ideally just three or four.
• Blogger will also allow this and they are a lot more relaxed about the quantity of your links, but they do not have as high a pagerank as squidoo.
• Weebly is another good option that will allow you to link often and is really easy to build pages there.

If you are going to use Squidoo in place of your own site, then your mind map might look something like this…

Linking from your selection of Web 2.0 sites directly to your Own Site or “Centre Product Site” is very important, but you also want your web2.0 sites to do some work for you too and the best way for them to start ranking with google is if they too get some links directed at them.  Backward and forward links are not a good idea, but you can always link them to each other in a circle formation.

In Mind Map 1.  You will start by building your own site and then you’ll begin building each of your five information sites afterwards. You would want to link your Squidoo page to — Blogger to — Quizilla to — Hubpages to — Weebly and back to Squidoo.   This way each of the pages will have a link directed at your own web site as well as to each of the web 2.0 information sites.

In Mind Map 2.  You will build your squidoo page first and then start building your other sites with your Vox to — Blogetery to — Zimbio to — Hubpages to — Weebly and back to — Vox.

Key notes to remember:-

• The information on your own site or centre site must be unique to any other information.  This is the base of your mind map and must be worthy of the attention it is going to get.  Spend time on it and make it captivating.
• Each Mind Map should be optimized around one keyword for your product.
• Once you have completed this circle, it is important to test it to make sure that your links all work.
• You want to have quality content on all six of these pages – this is your “direct sales team” and deserves a little more attention.
